Survey – Rowing Caps

A fantastic piece of memorabilia is a rowing cap presented to present and past rowers who rowed at Year 12. These rowing caps would be a numbered memento for the rowers with their unique number identifying them as part of the Melbourne High School rowing club.

To determine what type of hat would be acceptable, we seek your input on what the cap will look like.

Current rowing caps are white in colour and formally they were maroon.
The rowing logo can be applied in a number of ways. Embroidered is more expensive but looks nicer. https://www.unipromo.com.au/Article/Decoration-Methods-Explained contains a description of the types suggested here.
The unique number allocated to each rower who rowed in year 12 at Melbourne High School. By adding the number to every hat it will increase the price. By creating a standard cap with the year number under the crest and then adding a removable pin or dog tag with small rowing logo and the cap number, these could be produced separately.
I do think creating a generic cap and having the personalised rower information etched onto a dogtag, name tag, pin or similar is a quality but economical way to go.
That is if we decide on this approach.
If we were able to have this component as a tax deductible gift to the appropriate fund and specify it as such, I think it would be appreciated.
